From the time he was a boy, Uris spoke to spiders. They entered his dreams and left him messages woven in their webs. Now they are leaving warnings, something terrible is coming for him.

Born with  magic power he does not understand, an affinity with animals and the ability to see into the spirit world and speak to those who dwell there, Uris is now hunted by a witch who, from her dark tower, sends her monsters to scour the world looking for him. Bent on using his latent power to cast the world into a new darkness, she will stop at nothing to bend him to her will.  With a mysterious and unlikely mentor, Uris flees the security of the world he once knew and embarks on a psychedelic adventure filled with mayhem, murder, and monsters, as he struggles to learn what it means to be a druid and discover his own nascent potential while the world he knows hangs in the balance.

The stakes are deadly, and betrayal comes from unlikely places. Pitted against a legion of tireless assailants, Uris must summon the totality of his abilities, including a willingness towards self-sacrifice, to save those he loves, even if it means stepping into the darkness himself.
